Piano Player for your wedding

Rob provides his own electric piano at no extra cost. This electric stage piano can also be combined with a black grand piano shell, so you have all the benefits of an electric piano with the aesthetics of a traditional grand piano.

Alternatively, if there is a suitably located piano at the venue, he is more than happy to use this. Rob has a vast repertoire of music for you to choose from and the ability to learn special requests to ensure your day has that personalised touch.

Wedding Pianist FAQs

What is the minimum and maximum time we can hire you for?

Rob is happy performing two sets of 45 or two sets of 60 minutes. Depending on your demands, he can provide daytime and evening packages. He can also handle the DJ portion of the evening if that is what you want.

How do we book you?

Complete the online enquiry form or contact me by email providing the following information:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Your venue
  • Your chosen date
  • Your chosen package

I will aim to contact you within 48 hours to confirm if I am available on your chosen date. At this stage, I will then send through a booking contract with some additional T&Cs.

How do we secure our date?

A £100 non-refundable deposit (via bank transfer) is required, with the remaining balance due 60 days before the wedding day.

Once your deposit is obtained, you’ll receive a deposit invoice to finalise your booking. Please note that your date is only secured on receipt of the deposit.

How much do your wedding packages cost?

Packages start from £395, and all packages include the following as standard: Hire of my electric piano complete with baby grand piano shell, three special song requests and travel within 50 miles of my base in Greater Manchester (Mileage costs apply for additional travel)

How far in advance should I book you?
I would recommend booking as soon as possible as dates in the summer months tend to fill up fast; however, please do not hesitate to contact me for my updated availability.
How and when can you be contacted?

For initial enquires and new bookings, please use the contact form on my website. I aim to respond to all messages and emails within 48 hours. You can also contact me via social media; however once you have secured your booking, email contact is preferable to ensure all communication is in the same place.

I understand that plans or timings may change as your wedding date approaches. For this reason, I endeavour to be on hand to answer any queries you may have, so please feel free to contact me on my mobile number for a quicker response.

Do you have a set list/repertoire list we can choose from?

Rob has an extensive repertoire list that can be found here. The songs on this list range from classical pieces and traditional jazz to instrumental piano adaptations of pop, rock, and soul hits.

Can you perform specific song requests?

Absolutely! If you don’t see a song on Rob’s repertoire list that you want to be played at your special day just let him know. All packages include 3 specifically requested songs not from my list as standard.

Can you travel to my venue and are there any additional costs for travel?

All packages include travel to venues within 50 miles of my base in Greater Manchester as standard. For venues further away than this additional milage costs will be charged at £0.45 per additional mile.

Can we meet or arrange a call prior to our wedding day?
Once your booking is confirmed I will be on hand to finalise the details of your special day via both email and phone at no extra charge. If you require me to attend the venue for a rehearsal or other appointment a £50 fee will be charged plus milage costs if the venue exceeds the 50-mile radius of my home base.

Can we help put the set list together?

With adequate notice, Rob could widen his set list to learn something new for your event.

Can you hire a piano player for a wedding?

A pianist like Rob can add a touch of elegance and glamour to any event or wedding. His skills on the piano can mesmerise your guest and add a magical ambience.

Can you provide your own equipment?

Rob provides all his equipment, including an electric stage piano, baby grand shell and professional sound system. This provides all the benefits of an electric piano with the aesthetics of a beautiful baby grand. Please note that He would require access to a power supply if he uses my equipment.

If your chosen venue has a piano on site that you prefer, he can also use this.

Can you perform outdoors?
Yes, performance outdoors (weather permitting). Rob requests that there is a backup plan in the event of bad weather.

Please note his piano requires access to a power supply, so an outdoor socket or the ability to run power from a nearby building would be required. Also, some venues have licensing restrictions on allowing amplified music outdoors, so please check this with your venue to ensure they are happy.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Certificates?

Yes, Rob can provide certificates for both of these on request.

What can we expect on the day of our wedding?

Rob will aim to arrive 90 minutes before the start of your ceremony, so he’s set up and ready to play for when your guests arrive. Once set up, he will complete a full soundcheck of my equipment and connect with you to check the timings and running order of the day for any last-minute changes or additions. Once this is done, all that’s left is for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the music whilst celebrating with your friends and family.
